Berkshire Hathaway Wiki and History
It was founded by Oliver Chace (24 August 1769 – 21 May 1852) in the year 1839. The company was originally called Valley Falls Company and has its origins in the textile manufacturing company. It headquarters is at Kiewit Plaza, Omaha, Nebraska, USA.
In 1962, Warren Buffet bought shares from the company but later the company had issues. A situation with Seabury Stanton who ran the company at that time made Warren Buffet buy more shares when he had initially agreed to sell his stake in the company. This led to Buffet taking over the company and firing Stanton.
